Situated on 50 private, wooded acres in the heart of the Ozarks, Fox Wood was born from a passion for unique architecture, curated design, and the restorative power of the forest and mountains.
Our Story
Fox Wood isn’t just a rental property; it’s a labor of love. As owners and operators, we spent years traveling—from the rustic hills of the Ozarks to the charming boutique inns of France—gathering inspiration for what a truly “eclectic” retreat could look like.
When we found this 50-acre sanctuary just minutes from downtown Eureka Springs, we knew it was the perfect canvas. We didn’t want to build a “standard” resort. Instead, we set out to create a collection of diverse, high-concept stays—each with its own soul and personality.

The Fox Wood Philosophy
We are hands-on in every sense of the word. We personally oversee the maintenance, design, and guest experience at Fox Wood to ensure it meets our “five-star” standard for cleanliness and comfort.
Whether we are maintaining our private trail system, sanitizing our Japanese Ofuro tubs and hot tubs after every guest, or ensuring the state-of-the-art climate control in our domes is performing perfectly in the Arkansas humidity, our goal is the same: to provide a seamless, high-end experience that allows you to simply be.
Our Neighbors & Nature
We share our corner of the Ozarks with some incredible neighbors. Being located near the Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge means our guests often enjoy the unique, grounding experience of hearing lions and tigers during their morning “tiger feed”—all while sipping Nespresso on a private deck.
